Fort Washington Medical Center welcomes feedback from our patients and investigates each report and complaint thoroughly in order to evaluate whether changes in practice are indicated. If you have concerns about patient care or safety in our hospital, please contact:

If you have an emergent issue, please call the main hospital at 301-292-7000.

External regulatory agencies also field complaints on our behalf, relay the details received to the hospital and evaluate the adequacy of the hospital’s response to the complaint.

The Hospital does NOT take disciplinary or punitive action when an employee, physician, or other individual who provides care, treatment, and services reports safety or quality-of-care concerns to The Joint Commission or other external agency.
