The Nurse Manager is responsible for the operation of the strategic plan for their department, ensuring the assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager will role model professionalism and exemplary standards of practice while mentoring, evaluating, and facilitating the professional growth of their team as well as ensuring the accountability of team members to practice standards as well as the goals, mission, vision, and policies of the organization.
|Education:||BSN in nursing from a accredited institution; Master's degree preferred|
|Experience:||Supervisory experience preferred; 3 years' work experience in department specific area, as defined by the department-specific certification requirements|
|Licenseure:||Current Maryland state nursing license; BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association and/or Red Cross|
|Skills:||Excellent clinical, leadership, and communication as well as problem solving abilities|
