Nexus Health/Fort Washington Medical Center Board of Trustees Update

The Nexus Health/Fort Washington Medical Center Board of Trustees announced today that Mr. Joseph Tucker, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will serve as the acting president and chief executive officer of Nexus Health, until a permanent president and CEO is named.

Mr. Tucker has been an executive within the Nexus Health family for 20 years and assumes the temporary position following the resignation of Interim President and CEO Reginald Jones. We are grateful to Mr. Jones for his work to help position the organization for greater success and growth and wish him the great success in his future endeavors and business opportunities. Mr. Tucker will serve as acting president and CEO while continuing his responsibilities as chief financial officer.

The Board is actively engaged in a search for a permanent chief executive officer. The search is expected to be complete within the next 90 days. I will serve as the lead for the hiring process and we hope to install a permanent president and CEO soon.

Thank you for your continued support of Nexus Health and Fort Washington Medical Center through this transition period and beyond.

Hear it from Our Patients

Jody Beard has suffered from knee pain for many years. Not anymore, thanks to knee replacement surgery through the Fort Washington Medical Center Joint Replacement Program.
This surgery has changed my life. I no longer lay on shopping carts for support or agonize when walking on concrete. After two knee replacements, now I am all over the place. I’m walking around the school where I work without pain. My granddaughter says I don’t walk like a penguin anymore. I have my surgeon and the FWMC staff to thank for that!
